these underground caverns were amazing.

beautiful. natural. overwhelming.

this is what they've been waiting for.

the horses.

oh, how they love to ride.

they love everything about them.

and i love to sit back and watch.

watch their faces light up as they trot around.

watch their smiles brighten as they hold the reins.

on vacation...day 2

we went to Dutch Wonderland.

an amusement park for for younger kids.

they had a blast.

the big kids and the little kids.

too much excitement for one day.

on vacation...day 1.

we are in pennsylvania.

visiting nana, papa, and aunt kim.

ryan and ella have found a new love...

race cars.

and the feeling you get

as you're flying over a huge pennsylvania hill

with the wind in your hair

and your stomach in your throat.

we're all lovin' it.

aunt jacqui was here this weekend.

the kids had a blast.

jacqui definately got a glimpse into a crazy world.

it's safe to say she will be waiting a long time to have kids.

key west weekend.

to celebrate his 30th birthday,

paul and i took a short jaunt to key west for the weekend.

no kids.

we had a blast.

but how could we not.

no kids. key west. good combo.

we had breakfast at blue heaven.

i didn't know pancakes could taste so good.

we toured the hemingway house.

something paul had never seen.

even though this was his 11th trip to key west.

but he sure knew where the good bars were.

did i mention. no kids.

406 miles to st. petersburg.

just enough miles away from the daily grind.
